Global Ravidassia Welfare Organization's Visit to Bangladesh: Spreading the Light of Guru Ravidas Ji
On March 3, 2024, a momentous occasion unfolded as the Global Ravidassia Welfare Organization visited Bangladesh to further our mission of uniting the Ravidassia community and spreading the teachings of Jagat Guru Shri Guru Ravidass Maharaj Ji. This visit was led by our international chairman, Mr. Keshav Dhanda, and I, Mr. Sher Singh, president of the Indian chapter of the organization.
Celebrating the 647th Birth Anniversary of Guru Ravidas Ji
This year, we celebrated the 647th birth anniversary of Shri Guru Ravidass Maharaj Ji with great enthusiasm and devotion. As part of our efforts to reach out to the Ravidassia community in Bangladesh, we published the sacred Amritvani in Bengali (1000 copy) and 12000 Guru Ji Swaroop. This initiative was not just a milestone in our mission, but a heartfelt offering to ensure that the divine words of Guru Ji resonate with the people of Bangladesh.
With the unwavering support of our community in Europe, so that we were able to distribute this sacred literature and representations of Guru Ji across the country. The European Sangat has always stood by our side, helping us propagate the teachings and values of Shri Guru Ravidass Maharaj Ji far and wide.
A Memorable Visit to Dhaka and Rajshahi
Our journey took us to two key cities in Bangladesh: Dhaka and Rajshahi. The love and respect we received from the local Ravidassia community were overwhelming. From the moment we arrived at the airport, we were greeted with warmth and enthusiasm. The sight of the community members joyously chanting the name of Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji as they welcomed us was a moment of profound emotion and unity.
The atmosphere at the airport was electrifying, as the chants of “Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji Ki Jai” filled the air, drawing the attention and admiration of everyone present. It was a scene that truly encapsulated the spirit of devotion and the strong bond shared by the Ravidassia community in Bangladesh.
A Step Forward in Our Mission
This visit to Bangladesh was not just a journey, but a significant step forward in our mission to unite the Ravidassia community across the globe. It was a testament to the power of Guru Ji’s teachings and the strength of our shared beliefs. The support and love we received from the people of Bangladesh have further inspired us to continue our work with even greater determination.
